Interior designer and founder of Shanmé Design, Sylvie To has been assisting families for over 13 years with the design and planning of major renovations to create spaces that truly enhance their daily lives.
Her background is further strengthened by five years of experience as a renovation project manager, an expertise that now enables her to design projects that are as thoughtfully considered on paper as they are feasible in practice. This understanding of the realities of construction work enables her to anticipate challenges, facilitate coordination among various stakeholders, and offer clients reassuring support at every stage.
Convinced that a successful project begins with a genuine understanding of its inhabitants, she takes the time to listen to her clients, discover their lifestyle, aspirations, and priorities even before imagining a layout. Each of her recommendations is guided by a constant desire to serve their interests and create an environment that reflects them.
Passionate about travel, architecture, and nature, she draws inspiration from the places she discovers, materials, light, and the different ways of inhabiting spaces. This curiosity nurtures a sensitive, timeless, and profoundly human approach to design.
